After working within the care industry for 28 years I am still passionate about the industry including those that work within and those who are supported by it. My aim is to develop and nurture the potential of care workers from care assistants, seniors, team leaders, managers and support staff to enable them to provide the very best care. Ensuring they work to legislation, policies, procedures so that they meet the fundamental standards set out by CQC and to bespoke the training to your company. Enabling for your to provide a valued service that meets the unique needs of clients/services users ensuring respected, dignity and quality of life for all. By promoting a positive culture your company has been proven to help staff retention and well being and a reduction in errors.
My Experience within the care field has been varied and I have progressed within every level starting as a support worker then progressing to a registered manager within a supported living and residential setting. From 2009 I became a trainer/assessor completing my Preparing to Teach life long learners and my A1 qualification and have been working within assessing and training for the past 8 years gaining experience and professional development in all things care. I have recently completed my training to deliver moving and handling and all induction/care certificate training. My experience has been with clients of all ages and capabilities, from learning difficulties, to dementia care, to complex needs and end of life.
